I am Dr. Ngoh, originally from Cameroon, West Coast, Africa. I came over here to go to school to get a degree in dentistry and I did that. After my dental degree I chose to now specialize in endodontics, and after my specialty training I decided to stay here in Augusta so I can serve the people of Augusta. When I told my mom that I was going to go into dentistry, she laughed at me and said why would you want to go into dentistry because there’s no need. I had a chance to study medicine. I did not like the hospital setting but I saw there was a dentist that I shadowed and he really inspired me and because of that I decided to take on dentistry. After four years of dental school I went into endodontics and this is a very unique specialty where you have to spend two or three years of advanced training to enable you to become an endodontist and during that advanced training you do more complex cases, you use advanced technology. Even beyond that we have extra training in doing surgery, we have extra training in doing sedation to do cases that really the general dentists cannot do. At Augusta Endodontic Center we have very unique services that we provide. The first service that we provide is just sedative through root canals. Patients are out there who are so scared of having treatment now we can now provide that treatment in a comfortable and relaxing environment using sedation. We have some of the best advanced technology here now that we can use to diagnose teeth problems or have issues that patients would have where we can diagnose these problems using the advanced technology. I enjoy what I do here in the office doing root canals and treating patients, but I also enjoy my time away from the office and that time I spend time with my friends and family and we play golf. I have a passion for golf, I enjoy playing golf and also I enjoy the fact that I can now go on mission trips and sometimes you’re the first dentist that they see in their lives and it’s a way of me taking care of their dental needs. And I love to do that. This year marks the 20th anniversary of our practice and when we started this practice we have one mindset, and that is to make a difference. To make a difference in amongst ourselves, make a difference for our patients and also in the community. If you look at the name of the practice, it doesn’t have my name on it because it’s a team practice and we as a team we now have this goal of helping patients to make a difference in their lives.

At Augusta Endodontic Center, we are a specialty office limited to endodontics which is root canals, and with that we have the expertise, the technology, the training to give the patients the best treatment in the most comfortable and relaxing atmosphere that we can. At Augusta Endodontic Center we focus on the patient, we focus not just the disease but we focus on the patient who happens to have a disease, so we actually, we treat the patient not just the teeth and in our practice we have this emphasis of how do we take care of these patients in a way that can really make them feel more and more comfortable. Endodontics or root canal therapy has a negative connotation but we are rewriting that script using modern technology. Technology is really redefining the way that we practice endodontics, with technology we can do amazing things. We have technology now that can help us like almost like a GPS to help you navigate and get through the sinus and be able to treat these teeth that have infection, and we constantly invest in technology in this office because we know technology is here to stay. At Augusta Endodontic center we have advanced 3D imaging and guided access technology that makes treatment more predictable and more precise and accurate. It makes everything safer, more efficient, more accurate, and we’re committed to that and we pride ourselves in being able to deliver a superior result. The success of this practice relies so much on not just myself and Dr. Ngoh but the team that supports us. Every person in this office has a significant role to play as we manage and handle every patient that walks through our door. I’m so blessed to work with an incredible team. They all combined have 50-plus years of experience and with that you just cannot beat that. Our whole entire team, we love God, and if we love God, our hands will love his people and we get to treat them in a special way that somehow reflects the love of Christ in us. Faith is such an important aspect of this practice because God has blessed our lives in so many ways, and Dr. Ngoh and myself we like to see ourselves and our team as instruments of God’s grace that we can give back and help others in this way. The team, Dr. Ngoh, myself we pride ourselves in being able to connect with our patients not only at the level of treating their teeth but as people and that’s quite rewarding. This year marks the 20th anniversary of our practice and when we started this practice, we had one mindset and that is to make a difference, to make a difference in amongst ourselves, make a difference with our patients and also in the community.
