I am Dr. Ngoh, originally from Cameroon, West Coast, Africa. I came over here to go to school to get a degree in dentistry and I did that. After my dental degree I chose to now specialize in endodontics, and after my specialty training I decided to stay here in Augusta so I can serve the people of Augusta. When I told my mom that I was going to go into dentistry, she laughed at me and said why would you want to go into dentistry because there’s no need. I had a chance to study medicine. I did not like the hospital setting but I saw there was a dentist that I shadowed and he really inspired me and because of that I decided to take on dentistry. After four years of dental school I went into endodontics and this is a very unique specialty where you have to spend two or three years of advanced training to enable you to become an endodontist and during that advanced training you do more complex cases, you use advanced technology. Even beyond that we have extra training in doing surgery, we have extra training in doing sedation to do cases that really the general dentists cannot do. At Augusta Endodontic Center we have very unique services that we provide. The first service that we provide is just sedative through root canals. Patients are out there who are so scared of having treatment now we can now provide that treatment in a comfortable and relaxing environment using sedation. We have some of the best advanced technology here now that we can use to diagnose teeth problems or have issues that patients would have where we can diagnose these problems using the advanced technology. I enjoy what I do here in the office doing root canals and treating patients, but I also enjoy my time away from the office and that time I spend time with my friends and family and we play golf. I have a passion for golf, I enjoy playing golf and also I enjoy the fact that I can now go on mission trips and sometimes you’re the first dentist that they see in their lives and it’s a way of me taking care of their dental needs. And I love to do that. This year marks the 20th anniversary of our practice and when we started this practice we have one mindset, and that is to make a difference. To make a difference in amongst ourselves, make a difference for our patients and also in the community. If you look at the name of the practice, it doesn’t have my name on it because it’s a team practice and we as a team we now have this goal of helping patients to make a difference in their lives.

I got into Endodontics when I was a young captain in the US Army. I was a general dentist since 2005, and I practiced general dentistry for about 5 to 6 years, before going into Endodontics, and in Endodontics we have additional required trading of 2 years, so that makes us experts in our field. I chose Endodontics because I wanted to be an expert in a specialty that could really help make difference in patients’ lives, and tooth pain and dental pain and saving teeth and dealing with that and helping paints allows me to do that. It is quite rewarding to help patients in that sense. At Augusta Endodontic center we are a specialty office limited to Endodontics which is root canals and with that we have the expertise, the technology the training to give the patients the best treatment and the most comfortable and relaxing atmosphere that we can. We have got a great team here at Augusta endodontic center. We are more like a work family than just coworkers. The patients can sense that and it translates to how we serve them overall when they come in and see us. When I am not at the office, when I am not practicing dentisty, Endodontics, I spend a lot of time with my family and I have 2 kids and my husband and we just enjoy a lot of family time. For fun, we like to travel, we like to be outdoors, we also enjoy cooking and baking at home. The most rewarding part of my job as an Endodontist is getting someone out of dental tooth pain because that can be significant and it can impact their lives, their smile, their health, and when someone comes in in tears and pain holding their face and then they leave here with a smile on their face and with such relief, and to be able to help someone in that way is very rewarding!

At Augusta Endodontic center, we are a specialty office limited to endodontics which is root canals. And with that we have the expertise, the technology, the training to give the patients the best treatment in the most comfortable and relaxing atmosphere that we can. At Augusta Endodontic Center, we focus on the patient, we focus not just the disease but we focus on the patient who happens to have a disease, so we actually treat the patient not just the teeth, and in our practice we have this emphasis of how do we take care of these patients in a way that can really make them feel more and more comfortable? Endodontics or root canal therapy has a negative connotation but we are rewriting that script using modern technology. At Augusta Endodontic Center we have advanced 3D imaging and guided access technology that makes treatment more predictable and more precise and accurate. It makes everything safer, more efficient, more accurate, and we’re committed to that and we pride ourselves in being able to deliver a superior result. The success of this practice relies so much on not just myself and Dr. Ngoh but the team that supports us. Every person in this office has a significant role to play as we manage and handle every patient that walks through our door. I’m so blessed to work with an incredible team they all combined have 50 plus years of experience and with that you just cannot beat that our whole entire team, we love god, and if we love god our hands will love his people and we get to treat them in a special way that somehow reflects the love of Christ in us. The team, Dr. Ngoh, myself we pride ourselves in being able to connect with our patients not only at the level of treating their teeth but as people, and that’s quite rewarding. This year marks the 20th anniversary of our practice and when we started this practice we had one mindset and that is to make a difference, to make a difference in amongst ourselves, make a difference with our patients and also in the community. I’ve been with Dr. Ngoh for 20 years. I saw the Augusta Endodontic center develop from a small little bitty room that Dr. Ngoh and I started and come to this wonderful place. Dr. Ngoh has puts forth so much effort and heart into everything he has done and just poured it into the community as well. 20 years is a long time and I’m really proud of what we’ve done during this time. For a business to be around for 20 years they’re doing something right. Congratulations on 20 years of service. Congratulations Augusta endodontic center on 20 amazing years.
